ReplyDeleteWell, all I would like to say is that calling someone hood or "ratchet" because of the shoes or style they choose to purchase and wear is a stereotype and further more makes you sound highly ignorant and arrogant. Just because someones style or taste is different from yours doesn't make them any less of a person. You are also talking about someone's character by calling them hood and 99% of the time you don't even know the person to correctly identify their type of character. Speaking hypothetically, the smartest or classiest person in the world may choose to buy these shoes and they could be one of the nicest people with much wealth, thus they are not what society would describe as "hood", their style just differs. Also you sound very ignorant because calling someone hood for wearing these shoes is like someone calling you hood for wearing polo, American Eagle, True Religion, or even a plain and simple hat. Which all in all sounds very narrow minded, inane, and out right dumb. Lastly, when you talk about your girl and "dis-owning" her, you make your self sound like the typical wannabe player/hustler. If she is supposed to be your girl, shouldn't you like her for who she is and her personality rather than her different views and likings towards her personal style??
